About
I am a manager in the VAT department of the London office, providing advice on all aspects of indirect tax, including VAT registration, cross-border transactions, reporting and compliance responsibilities.
I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2015, having been a manager for five years in the Outsourcing departments of Mid-tier top twenty accounting firms. Prior to this, I had a successful fifteen year career as a retail store manager.
I have a strong knowledge of various online accounting systems, and experience of both management accounts reporting and VAT with a varied portfolio of clients ranging from individuals, partnerships to large corporates.
I am a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians, and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Personal
I have a long bucket list of experiences I would like to try – over the last few years I have completed a sky-dive, two bungee jumps, climbed Ben Nevis for MacMillan Cancer Research and abseiled down a church spire to raise money for a new roof!
Alternative career choice
I have a strong interest in cars – my ideal career path if I were not an accounting would either be a Formula One racing driver, or a presenter on Top Gear!
