I am an Indirect Tax Manager within Menzies, with a specific focus in VAT and Plastic Packaging Tax (PPT).
I help my clients in a number of ways from VAT compliance matters (including partial exemption calculations) to providing proactive advice on complex VAT transactions such as those found in financial services, cross border and property.
My greatest achievement is completely changing my career from being a retail manager, to becoming a fully qualified accountant in my mid-thirties, then being able to specialise in indirect Tax.
I love to travel and have recently returned from a tour around Egypt and Jordan. Other places I have travelled to include Dubai, NYC and numerous European cities such as Rome, Budapest and Prague. My current goal is to see all seven modern wonders of the world.
