Having joined Menzies as a Partner almost 10 years ago, my primary role is to support and advise a mixed portfolio of clients, ranging from SMEs and their founders to larger corporates with private equity backing. I am a Senior Statutory Auditor, and the Partner responsible for our London office.
Through maintaining strong relationships with clients, I can help them to meet their compliance obligations and more importantly, to provide proactive commercial consultancy, introducing specialist colleagues from the Menzies team to deliver expert advice on a timely basis to suit the needs of the business or individuals.
Many of the clients that I work with joined Menzies with me, and many more have since chosen me and the firm to advise them. I am always proud to see their commercial and family lifecycles unfold in accordance with business and succession plans set in motion during the course of our time working together. Considerable sums of money have been saved for businesses and their stakeholders, and significant company values have been realised for outgoing shareholders, by good governance and forward thinking. One example of this is a client of 15 years, building and selling their business to a customer for £80m in the lead up to retirement, supported by our advice and wide-ranging knowledge.
Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, entertaining and the outdoors in general, always with friends and family, good food and wine.
