These range from sole-traders to large LLPs.  We are proud of our reputation and the long-term relationships we have built up with the legal profession. There is a team of people assisting with legal practices around Menzies and it is that suite of expertise that assists us with understanding and advising law firms.

We like to work closely with our clients and wider network and provide regular topical legal sector updates via webinars/roundtables/conferences as well as helpful articles/blogs via our Social channels, trade publications and our website.

Peter Noyce heads up our legal sector team and has many years and extensive personal experience of working with and for law firms.  His book, “Brighter Thinking for Law Firms,” offers key advice and insight into law firms from a strategic business perspective.

As well as his own book, Peter Noyce has written a Chapter in ‘Mergers with the benefit of hindsight’ by Anne Harnetty and this follows Menzies successful involvement in mergers of law firms and our growing reputation in this field of work.

Our team can cover off all compliance requirements for legal practices but it is our strategic advice focusing on profit improvement and ensuring that each firm is managing all aspects of their practice efficiently that drives us.

Working with the practice leaders on all areas of their business and drilling down into department performance will result in a successful practice, meeting short- and long-term aspirations, using our expertise in this legal sector.

Thought Leadership

Can incremental productivity gains deliver lasting value?

Most people already know that UK productivity is not as strong as it should be, but do you understand why it matters and what you can do about it?

In One of our business services insights reports, we explored why and how business owners can boost productivity within their own operations.

Everyone Wants ‘More for More’

The customer mantra ‘we want more for less’ seems to crop up with remarkable regularity when discussing budgets and plans for the year ahead.

Instead of giving into such cost pressures, however, most forward-looking business services firms realise that the key to growth is convincing customers that they are worth ‘more for more’ – but how should they go about it?
