I have been instructed on more than 250 insolvency appointments, covering all aspects, including complex cases of an international nature.
I have particular expertise in property and travel companies. I also undertake insolvency-related forensic investigation work, and litigation support roles.
I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1990 and immediately specialised in insolvency. I became a licensed Insolvency Practitioner (IPA) and Partner in my previous firm in 2000. I joined Menzies Business Recovery in 2011, which became part of Menzies LLP in July 2015.
I am authorised to act as an Insolvency Practitioner by the IPA, am a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW), and of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals (R3). I was, until recently, a Council member of the IPA, and chair of its Finance Committee.
My favourite hobby
Music and supporting the best band in the world – Ned’s Atomic Dustbin.
Which actor would play me in a movie
I’m regularly mistaken for Harry Enfield, so he seems like the obvious choice, plus I’m sure he could put an amusing spin on some of my life experiences.
