I am a Director within the Private Client team at Menzies. My clients are mostly non-UK domiciled, high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals. As well as tax compliance work, I focus on tax advisory and planning matters for clients who are leaving the UK, coming to the UK, require succession planning and/or an inheritance tax review. In addition, I lead on the Divorce and Separation services at Menzies and this work can include being a Single Joint Expert, Capital Gains Tax reports/analysis and Forensic work on Form Es.
I take great pride in building strong relationships with my clients and intermediaries to ensure a good working relationship where I can become the trusted advisor and add value to client needs and requirements.
In my time at Menzies, I have had many proud moments including seeing the growth in client opportunities in divorce and international client work, our team being finalists in various awards as the best private client team and personally being a finalist as Tax Mentor of the Year at the Tolley’s Taxation Awards 2023.
I have a number of interest both inside and outside of work that bring me joy and that I am passionate about. At work these include being part of the Better Place to Work committee, being the DEI ambassador for Women at Menzies, being a Mental Health First Aider. Outside of work, I have various hobbies that include playing badminton (and we have set up a group that play within the Menzies London office), dancing, food and cricket especially when India are playing. I love to travel and explore new places and enjoy new experiences….after all life is short and must be lived and enjoyed.
