Simon has over 20 years’ experience advising financially distressed businesses. He started his insolvency career in 1990 in private practice and in 1998 left to broaden his insolvency experience in insolvency regulation. He subsequently rejoined private practice as partner in two top-20 firms. He joined Menzies Business Recovery in 2011.

He believes that his accumulated experience provides a perfect platform to offer financially challenged businesses and individuals with solutions to their difficulties.

Simon has maintained a close relationship with the insolvency regulators and was President of the Insolvency Practitioners Association from May 2007 to May 2008.

He is a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner, a Registered Property Receiver and a Member of the Expert Witness Institute. He is also a keen scuba diver having qualified as a PADI Divemaster.

Simon is authorised to act as an insolvency practitioner by the Insolvency Practitioners Association in the United Kingdom.

Laurence has experience of all aspects of insolvency work from small to large cases, including complex cases of an international nature. He also undertakes forensic investigation work and litigation support roles.

He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1990 and immediately specialised in insolvency. He became a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner in 2000.

Laurence is authorised to act as an insolvency practitioner by the Insolvency Practitioners Association in the United Kingdom.

Mark has an extensive background knowledge of corporate and personal insolvency, and has helped distressed businesses across many sectors. Mark's experience ranges from small sole trader bankruptcies to multi-site trading administrations. He has also been involved in forensic investigations and independent business reviews for lenders.

He believes in the rescue culture, the need to identify financial problems and seek advice at an early stage, so that the appropriate strategy can be implemented.

Mark started his insolvency career in 1990 and has worked for a number of leading firms. He qualified as an insolvency practitioner in 2010 and joined Menzies Business Recovery in 2011.

Mark is authorised to act as an insolvency practitioner by the Insolvency Practitioners Association in the United Kingdom.
