I am a Partner in the Business Recovery department with over 18 years’ experience of advising clients in distressed scenarios.
Throughout my time in the industry, I have helped a diverse range of clients find a suitable solution to their financial problems. These include advising on members’ and creditors’ voluntary liquidations, administrations, company voluntary arrangements, bankruptcy matters and individual voluntary arrangements.
I am a Chartered Certified Accountant as well as a licensed Insolvency Practitioner and am a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Insolvency Practitioners Association (IPA) and the Association of Business Recovery Professionals (R3).
In addition, I am experienced at negotiating with secured lenders, HM Revenue & Customs and landlords. I also take on creditor-led appointments, where I have a proven track record in achieving a successful outcome following a thorough investigation.
My first job
I was a football referee when I was 13. I had to deal with dispute resolution from an early age, whether it was the players or parents wanting to kill me.
Alternative career choice
A helicopter mountain rescue guide in the winter and a tennis coach in the Caribbean in the summer.
