I am an accountant that specialises in turnaround and recovery and formal solutions for companies in financial distress. I work across all sectors but have specialisms in the regulated sectors and with international projects.
I have over 30 years’ experience helping companies in financial distress and I am a licenced insolvency practitioner.
I am also past Chair of the Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies (CCAB), the voice of the accountancy profession in the United Kingdom and Ireland. I am a global Council Member for the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. I have contributed to developing best practice in my profession in the UK and to the formation of European Directives.
I have a background in governance and have led a group involved in the formation and implementation of governance changes in a global organisation.
I am part of the Better Place to Work Team at Menzies and I am very proud to lead the Diversity and Inclusion strategy for the firm.
Two luxury items I’d take on a desert island
My bass guitar and amplifier – hoping I would find a plug socket. No neighbours and a dial that goes up to 11.
All of it. Can regularly be found at concerts and music festivals.
