I am a Partner at Menzies with more than 30 years’ experience advising entrepreneurial businesses, privately owned companies and international groups across a broad range of industries.
Throughout my career I have worked closely with business owners, management teams and investors, providing commercially focused advice that helps organisations achieve their strategic objectives. My role extends well beyond compliance, encompassing business growth, corporate structuring, governance, succession planning, acquisitions, international expansion and raising finance.
I pride myself on developing long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted adviser who understands both the commercial and personal challenges faced by business owners. My approach is pragmatic, collaborative and focused on delivering practical solutions that support sustainable growth.
While my client portfolio spans many different industries, I have developed significant experience advising businesses operating within the renewable energy and wider energy transition markets. Over the past 15 years I have advised developers, operators, investors and technology businesses involved in solar, wind, battery energy storage and advanced biofuels, supporting clients on corporate structuring, investment, governance, international expansion and business growth.
I have a particular interest in helping businesses operating in innovative and rapidly evolving markets, where strategic planning, access to capital and strong governance are fundamental to long-term success.
Alongside my role at Menzies, I serve as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Technologies New Energy Plc, a company listed on the London Stock Exchange that is developing advanced biofuel projects across Europe. This appointment provides additional insight into the governance, strategic and commercial issues facing businesses operating within the energy transition.
I also contribute thought leadership on renewable energy and sustainable fuels, sharing practical insights into topics including sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), advanced biofuels, renewable infrastructure investment and the commercial challenges affecting the sector.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, I regularly advise clients with international operations and cross-border interests throughout the UK and overseas.
