We require AAT trainees (Accounting Technician) to have 8 GCSEs or equivalent, including Grade A in Maths and English and 3 A Levels Grade A-C (min 300 UCAS points).
ATT Qualifications
To qualify as an AAT Accounting Technician, you have to complete a syllabus which has three stages:
- Level 2 Certificate in Accounting
- Level 3 Diploma in Accounting
- Level 4 Diploma in Accounting
The full qualification is approximately equivalent to the first year of an honours degree, according to the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).
Accountancy training and support
Assessment is via a combination of computer-based tests and projects, workplace evidence and projects assessed by our training provider and the AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians). We provide a comprehensive study support package to help you achieve full qualification.
Over a period of 2 years, trainees are expected to achieve the AAT Accounting qualification and gain from the practical work experience and in-house training they also receive.
