I am a Qualified Chartered Accountant, audit trained, with over 20 years’ experience as a Tax Professional in both industry and professional services firms.

I spent the last 10 years as Global Head of Tax at a multinational FTSE 250 company, managing all areas of tax strategy, provisioning and compliance , planning and risk.

During my professional career I have managed all areas of tax including Corporation Tax, Employment Taxes, VAT and Customs Duty;

I specialise in corporate Tax with significant experience in compiling capital allowances claims and Research and Development claims;

I have extensive experience in international issues including Transfer Pricing, corporate structuring, acquisitions and disposals and BREXIT planning.

Throughout my career I have gained experience establishing companies around the globe ensuring compliance with statutory and tax obligations.

I deal with HMRC and other Global Tax Authorities on  a daily basis, handling negotiations on international tax audits.



Founder and Trustee of a small UK registered charity, James’ Jar of Gifts which provides funds, educational scholarships and specialist equipment to help youngsters in both the UK and Africa access social and educational opportunities which they wouldn’t otherwise be able to access due to financial hardship and/or disability

African Drumming as a member of a diverse and enthusiastic Surrey based group who meet weekly to drum.
