Deal Alert: Menzies corporate finance team advises on the sale of Anabas to global heavyweight

Our Corporate finance team, alongside Law firm DMH Stallard (DMHS), recently advised on the sale of Anabas, a facilities management provider to Armonia, part of the Sofinord Group and a global facilities management business.

Securing the future of Anabas

Anabas, established in 2004 by Mark Cooper, provides a range of services in facilities management as well as delivering high-quality corporate office spaces in the UK, for organisations including Ogilvy and Mitchells & Butlers plc.

Creating multiple opportunities for development and career progression, this deal will help to strengthen Anabas’ financial standing, while accelerating its growth trajectory and enabling a broader service offering.   

Retaining the brand

Armonia, a French facilities management provider, established in 1974 has around 16,000 employees located from France to North Africa. It provides a variety of facilities management services to organisations including Hermes and Renault Digital.

Alastair Craig, managing director, will continue his role with the Anabas brand while retaining a shareholding with the management team.

Our corporate finance team, spearheaded by director, Kevin Paget, advised Ananbas on a variety of different aspects including; deal structure negotiations, net working capital/free cash position, due diligence process and the commercial aspects of the legal documentation.
