I enjoy a wonderful role as Partner within our Audit & Assurance team and part of the leadership team in our business, even more exciting now as Beever and Struthers has merged with Menzies LLP to create a truly national offering to our clients, stronger together.
Working with our dedicated specialist team in the not-for-profit sector nationally is something I relish, as well as developing our practice and colleagues working together to achieve better. As a key member of the not-for-profit team I work with clients at local, regional and national levels, including housing associations, charities, further education colleges and social enterprises.
A passion is to support clients and share my experience and knowledge through Board and Committee meetings, seminars and training sessions. I’m currently embracing the revision to FRS102 and ESG. For me good financial reporting also embraces the culture and transparency of achievements and performance of an organisation, both good and bad, in a meaningful way.
Alongside my role, I am also a proud member of the pro-manchester Property and Regeneration Committee and I was thrilled to judge at the recent pro-manchester MIMAs, such brilliant talent across GM. Keeping active is important to me for health and wellbeing. Running and weights at the gym are my go-to activities. Travelling is the favourite hobby, and I always like to fit an F1 race in each year too.
