About

I am an Audit Partner and Head of Charities at Menzies.

I thoroughly enjoy working with our dedicated specialist team in the Not-for-Profit sector, supporting organisations that make a genuine impact on society, while also helping to grow our practice and develop our people.

Our Not-for-Profit clients rely on technical specialists who offer the right level of challenge—balanced with support and understanding. That’s what sets us apart. We pride ourselves on bringing a personal touch to every relationship, tailored to the unique mission and values of each organisation we work with.

I joined Beever and Struthers in 2014 and became a Partner the following year, in 2025 we merged with Menzies LLP. Since then, I’ve worked with over a hundred clients across the UK – including charities, housing associations, colleges, and social enterprises – supporting them at local, regional, and national levels.

I chose to specialise in the Not-for-Profit sector because I believe in the work our clients do. Being able to support them in delivering social value is incredibly fulfilling, and I’m proud to play a part in that.

I’m also responsible for helping ensure we carry out high-quality work and make the right decisions about the engagements we undertake – a responsibility I take seriously.

I’m particularly passionate about sharing knowledge and supporting clients through Board and Committee meetings, seminars, and training. I’m currently focusing on Social Value and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) standards because for me, financial reporting should reflect not just numbers, but the full picture of performance and culture, both good and bad.

I’m also a proud member of the pro-manchester Property and Regeneration Committee.

Staying active is important to me—for both physical and mental wellbeing. I enjoy running and weight training, and I’m always planning the next trip abroad. Recent adventures include Malaysia, Italy, and Egypt – and I always try to fit in a Formula 1 race when I can!
