About
I am a Senior Manager in Menzies’ team of VAT consultants. I have specialisms in land and property, and the not for profit and VAT exempt sectors.
I help the firm’s clients to navigate the complexities of VAT, optimise the structure of property transactions and developments, and recognise and where possible minimise, the cost of irrecoverable VAT.
Throughout my time at Menzies I am happy to say that no two days, clients or transactions have been the same, meaning that I can treat each client as an individual for whom we can develop the best solutions, working across a team of other tax specialists.
Outside of work, I am a qualified running coach and also club treasurer. I enjoy racing over distances from a short to ridiculously long, and everything in between.
VAT can be complex and costly, can delay transactions or make projects unviable. An early understanding will enable action or decisions to be taken at the right time.
