I am a Corporate Director and Responsible Individual (RI) at Menzies, running a portfolio of SME clients and larger groups under UK GAAP and IFRS.
I specialise in working with technology businesses, particularly those in the scale-up and private equity-backed space.
I work closely with SaaS and technology-enabled businesses, supporting them through key stages of growth, from early scale through to investment and exit. My experience includes advising on complex revenue recognition models, capitalisation of development costs, and going concern considerations in fast-moving, cash-sensitive environments.
Clients typically engage me when they need more than a compliance-led audit. I take time to understand how the business operates, its systems, processes and commercial drivers so that I can provide clear, practical advice that supports decision-making as well as audit delivery. This includes identifying opportunities to strengthen controls, improve reporting, and reduce risk as the business grows.
Having started my career working closely with owner-managed and entrepreneurial businesses, I bring a pragmatic and commercially focused approach, understanding the pressures management teams face when balancing growth, funding and operational delivery.
I also support businesses with international expansion, coordinating seamlessly with overseas teams through Menzies’ HLB International network to deliver a joined-up, consistent service across jurisdictions.
The proudest movement of my career so far is achieving RI status at Menzies.
