About
I am a Senior Manager within the Business Tax team at Menzies, within the Solent region. With a specific focus and expertise working in the large corporates and international aspects, I do have a lot of experience when it comes to innovation reliefs such as R&D and Patent Box claims.
I like to take a personal approach to my interactions with my clients, getting to know them well and building up a personal approach. This allows for a level of trust and that they can always come to me with an issue. I have always seen this industry as not only offering a technical service, but it is the personal connections made which can set you apart.
I would say being able to juggle my career with personal matters, specifically being a single father to a young son, but still having time to progress in my career.
Inside of work it would be dealing with the people with our client’s businesses and helping them meet their goals, either from an advisory perceptive or compliance. Outside of work it is being a father to my young son, watching him grow from a baby into the little boy he is today, this is the best thing I will ever do. Other than that, I am really into my music and cannot go a day without listening to my favourite bands or discovering something new. When I can, going to gigs is a passion, next gig I am looking forward to is Dayseeker in Bristol.
