I provide accounting, consulting and outsourcing services. I have worked in the accountancy profession since 1994 and has considerable experience in assisting owner-managed businesses and ensuring they receive timely and proactive advice.
I specialise in the hospitality & leisure sector and also act for a number of retail clients.
I pride myself on being an integral part of my client’s management team and helping them to achieve their business and personal aspirations and goals.
In 2013, I completed an accreditation with the International Centre for Families in Business (ICFIB) and have used these skills to assist a large number of family businesses that I act for.
I qualified as an accountant with Burnett Swayne in 1999. In 2003, I joined Morley and Scott to assist with the opening of a new Southampton office and growth of the Solent region. In 2005, I was promoted to Partner at Morley and Scott. Morley and Scott merged with Menzies LLP in November 2009 and since that date I have been key to the growth of the Solent office.
My first job
Whilst at college, my part time job was a clay pigeon trapper. Every Saturday and Sunday I would sit in a cold wet field, behind a trap and have people shout “Pull” at me.
Alternative career choice
I would pursue a career in antiques. Looking for items which could be valuable, sounds really exciting.
