About
I am a Partner at Menzies, heading up our Stevenage office and running a general portfolio of SME clients.
I pride myself in building close, long-term relationships with business owners to identify ways to improve profitability, reduce risk and increase shareholder value. I enjoy gaining a full understanding of my clients’ business and their aspirations for the future, so that I can deliver practical and proactive ‘Brighter Thinking’ advice.
I have been fortunate enough to have some great experiences in my career. One of my proudest achievements was working very closely with the owner of a water treatment company over a number of years, in particular following the death of a long-term business partner. I advised and supported them on bookkeeping, management accounting and compliance. Through consistent support and proactive advice, we were able to increase the sale price of the business to maximise the return and allow a happy exit from the company.
There are a number of things in my life that bring me joy – I love cycling, golfing, skiing and music, but my favourite thing is spending time with my 7-year-old daughter, Charlotte. I recently learned how to model balloons, which Charlotte and her friends love!
