I am a Corporate Tax Manager within Menzies and run a portfolio of SME clients across a range of sectors.
My work centres around the completion of corporation tax returns, ensuring this process runs smoothly and efficiently for all parties involved.
In addition to assisting my clients in meeting their corporation tax compliance requirements, I help them by spending time to get to know them and their business. This allows me to better identify claims for enhanced tax relief, as well as areas of potential risk.
My proudest moment at Menzies so far, is that I was able to save one of my clients £800,000 from one conversation surrounding cash flow. Further to this conversation, I worked with the client to create a tax forecast based on their management accounts, identifying an overpayment of tax and allowing them to better plan for future years.
Away from work, I enjoy spending time outside with friends and family. I play rugby for a local team, and recently, two friends and I completed the Three Peaks Challenge for charity.
