Our Corporate Finance team recently advised on the sale of the entire shareholding in Telegenic to Euro Media Group (EMG), for an undisclosed sum.
Based in Buckinghamshire, Telegenic is an Outside Broadcast (OB) Facilities Company operating a fleet of 15 OB and production trucks equipped with the most advanced technology available for HD productions. The company currently provides services to some of the world’s most renowned sports and entertainment channels including Sky Sports, BT Sport and the PGA Tour. Telegenic employs over 100 people and recently opened offices in the US.
Through acquiring the entire stake in Telegenic, EMG strengthens its ability to provide better coverage of major live global events, whilst reinforcing its presence in the UK and Europe.
Following the acquisition, EMG will rely on the expertise of the current Telegenic management team to continue developing the business.
