Deal Alert: Menzies LLP completes FDD for £8 million investment

Our Corporate Finance team have advised Downing LLP and Gresham House Venture on all aspects of the Financial Due Diligence in their joint development capital investments into Funding Xchange for £8 million.

Funding Xchange is a FinTech that has built digital decisioning technology to enable partners, such as Monzo and Experian, to offer their customers instant access to personalised, competitive quotes for business funding – ensuring that customers never pay more than going direct to a lender. Since inception, Funding Xchange has helped over 100,000 UK businesses navigate their finance options.

Daniel Cheung, Principal, Downing LLP and Henry Alty, Investment Director, Gresham House Ventures commented:
“We are extremely grateful for the extensive support provided by Ross and his team throughout the entire Due Diligence process. The work completed by Menzies proved invaluable in negotiating our position and ensuring a successful completion. We can now look forward to supporting Funding Xchange through its high growth phase as the company continues to deliver intelligent lending solutions to businesses and lenders.”
