Acquisition of Edge Case Games by Wargaming
The acquisition of Edge Case Games, the developer of Fractured Space, by developer and publisher Wargaming has secured 32 jobs in the South East through the creation of a new studio in Guildford. (Advisers: Charles Russell Speechlys, Menzies, Sheridans)
Acquisition of Raymond Brown Waste Solutions to Collard Group
The acquisition of the waste solutions business out of the wider Raymond Brown Group gives Collard Group an increased territory and the ability to grow the brand and the business in new areas. (Advisers and funders: Barclays, Menzies, HCR, Blandy & Blandy, Addleshaw Goddard, Vail Williams, Quercus Corporate Finance)
Private equity/Venture Capital Deal of the Year
Investment in BusinessOptix by Naples Technology Ventures
The investment in technology company BusinessOptix saw a partial exit of shareholders which has allowed the business to increase the number of staff to expand the company’s customer base. (Advisers: Menzies, Charles Russell Speechlys LLP)
