Commenting on the win, Bethan Evans, Partner, said:

‘It is an absolute pleasure to pick up the Corporate Restructuring & Insolvency Team of the Year at the 2021 Credit Awards. This win highlights the hard work and commitment demonstrated by our Creditor Services team who work closely with businesses and their financially challenged clients. Being a corporate partner of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM), we are deeply committed to the credit industry, and it is extremely rewarding to see our continuous efforts being recognised.’

To be acknowledged within the Corporate Restructuring & Insolvency Team of the Year category, our Creditor Services team had to present firm evidence of strategic vision, client satisfaction and a focus on employee development, as well as demonstrate exceptional examples of wider contribution to the corporate restructuring and insolvency profession.

The judge’s comments on our submission were as follows:

“This was seen by the judges as one that was able to achieve growth while establishing themselves as a market leader, which had measurable evidence points against the criteria set and with a great blend of financial and non-financial impacts with a greater focus beyond just growth of the company.”

The Credit Awards, now in its 22nd year, is firmly established as the UK’s largest awards ceremony for the credit industry. The awards, known as ‘the Oscars of the industry’, recognise the excellent work carried out by the individuals, teams and organisations that make up a vital part of the UK financial services sector.

A credit award is a coveted accolade perceived as the Gold Standard within UK risk, credit, and collections. Creditors, DCAs, Debt Purchasers and those that supply technology, products and outsourced services enter in the hope of being recognised as best in class.
