I’m one of Menzies Audit & Assurance Partners, working with private sector clients across a wide range of industries. I often describe myself as a “non-specialist specialist” – my focus is on understanding how businesses really work and making sure our audits add value, not just compliance.
I’ve never been a fan of checklist-style audits. I’m always looking for ways to improve audit efficiency and quality for both our team and our clients. That mindset keeps things interesting and ensures we’re always moving forward.
I joined Beever and Struthers 2008 because I wanted to be somewhere where I could make a meaningful difference, in 2025 we merged with Menzies and still feel I can be that difference for meaningful change.
Audit doesn’t have to be box-ticking. I enjoy digging deeper into how businesses operate and finding smarter, more efficient ways to deliver a high-quality audit that actually helps clients.
Music is a lifelong passion I’ve played electric guitar since my teenage rebellion days and still enjoy cranking up the volume. I also love old cars, making things, and fixing things.
I’m married with three teenage kids and a dog and that’s about the shape of it!
