I am a partner within the Audit & Assurance team. Our team brings a wealth of experience in supporting owner-managed businesses, helping them tackle key challenges such as strategy, structure, and succession planning. I also have a particular specialism in Employee Ownership Trusts, advising businesses through the transition and beyond.
My clients span a wide range of sectors from manufacturing and IT to recruitment, transport, and distribution providing me with real insight into the commercial issues businesses face across different industries.
Outside of client work, I enjoy representing the firm at a variety of networking and business development events, and I’ve had the opportunity to serve as a judge for a number of business awards.
I trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with an international audit firm before joining Beever and Struthers ten years later. I was proud to become partner in 2018. Then merging with Menzies LLP I look forward to this new chapter of growth and opportunity, continuing to support our clients with the same commitment and professionalism while embracing the broader resources and expertise this merger brings.
I work across Greater Manchester and Lancashire, but my client base also extends further afield including internationally, with clients as far away as India.
Life outside the office is all about enjoying time with my wife and two sons. I’m passionate about live music and sport, with a particular love for non-league football often travelling the country to watch games and supporting my sons as they play cricket.
I also try to get to gigs most weekends, and when I’m not out and about, you’ll usually find me with my head in a book. I’m not much of a TV watcher, and I attempt (not always successfully!) to keep fit by running a couple of times a week.
Good food, great wine, and travel are also big passions of mine.
