I am a Director in the Forensic and Valuation Services team at Menzies. I trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant at a boutique Manchester practice and hold a degree in Law from the University of Sheffield. I am a Member of the Academy of Experts.
I am appointed as an Expert and Single Joint Expert in a variety of commercial disputes with particular experience in shareholder and matrimonial matters. My work centres on the independent valuation of businesses and shareholdings, the quantification of financial loss arising from breach of contract, loss of profits, unfair prejudice petitions and post-transaction disputes.
I advise on valuation and quantum issues across the lifecycle of a dispute from early strategic assessment and pre-litigation advice through to CPR and FPR compliant expert reports for civil proceedings. In addition, I have also been appointed as an Expert in the Criminal Courts and as an Expert Determinator.
I have given expert evidence at trial and I am regularly instructed in matters requiring clear and robust financial analysis.
My experience spans a broad range of sectors and disputes of a varying nature.
