I am a Director in the Menzies Deal Advisory team, based in the Solent region, and I work closely with our London team. I specialise in transaction services, leading and co-ordinating financial and tax due diligence with a focus on transactions in the £3m to £75m enterprise value range. We are a sector agnostic team although I have a sub-focus on the financial services sector and support functions. Other sectors I have experience of include (but are not limited to) Construction, Early Years, Manufacturing, Professional Services and Software for both Corporates and Private Equity.
I work closely with clients to ensure they receive a due diligence report that is tailored to their needs and focused on the key deal issues, providing genuine opinions supported by data analysis. In addition, the support provided to clients extends beyond the issuing of the report often through to Completion.
During my time as a Deal Advisory professional, I have found it rewarding to see the value I can add to the deal process, this can vary from simply being a sounding board for an experienced acquirer to helping business owners navigate the sales process for what is often a once in a lifetime transaction. In addition, I am proud of the support and encouragement I have been able to give junior team members to enable them to develop and flourish in their careers, in the same way my mentors supported me.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time running around after my young family. I also enjoy keeping active and have a keen interest in rugby and boxing although sadly, following numerous injuries, I am more the armchair fan these days.
