Here at Menzies I am one of the ESG directors following the merger of Menzies and Grain Sustainability. The team from Grain has joined to build on the excellent work that Menzies has already been doing in the sustainability space and adding people power and new areas of know how.
Working in close partnership with clients, I help companies to understand the requirements posed by sustainability and to make the organisational changes that facilitate the incorporation of sustainability into the very fabric of the organisation.
My work is equally split between the development of sustainability strategy and carbon footprinting, the latter of which includes carbon reduction plans, supply chain engagement, and SBTi target setting. Driven by curiosity, I aim for a deep understanding of clients and their competitive environment, whether in a double materiality assessment or when hunting for carbon emission sources. This creates the insights that lead to intelligent decisions on how to best shape the next steps of the sustainability journey across many industries from the built environment and the renewable energy sector to professional services, financial services as well as manufacturing, technology, and research.
I love living at the end of the tube line: London’s inspiration within easy reach and the beautiful English countryside on my doorstep. In my spare time music forms a major part of what I do by both listening to and making music. I have a lifelong passion for travelling with my family, including skiing and surfing whenever possible.
