Menzies is pleased to announce that it has advised Eurofins on its acquisition of Cawood Scientific’s Agroscience research division, The division is a Contract Research Organisation (CRO) formed in 2022 by Cawood Scientific, which acquired Innovative Environmental Services (IES), Mambo-Tox and i2L Research and integrated them into a single group.
Eurofins Scientific is a global leader in food, environmental, pharmaceutical and cosmetic product testing, employing more than 65,000 people across 900 laboratories in 62 countries. Commenting on this acquisition, Eurofins have said “With this acquisition, Eurofins Agroscience Services marks a strategic milestone towards its vision of being a world leading provider of contract research services to the agrochemical and wider chemical industry”.
Menzies supported Eurofins on the transaction with due diligence services and transaction support on this cross-border deal.
