Our Corporate Finance Team with legal advisers Weightmans LLP, recently advised the shareholders of CM Research Ltd, on the sale of the business to US PE backed Kynetec, for an undisclosed sum.
Founded in 2010, CM Research is an experienced research agency focused on the veterinary and companion animal sectors.
Kynetec is a global leader in agricultural and animal health data and analytics, backed by the US private equity firm Paine Schwartz Partners, who invested in the business in 2021 when UK PE house Inflexion sold their investment.
Our corporate finance team, led by Kevin Paget and Tabitha Hyde, provided transaction support and guidance to the shareholders of CM Research, working with Stephen Blair and Sumaira Choudary of Weightmans LLP advising on legal aspects of the transaction, to ensure the sellers were achieving the best possible outcome.
