Mike heads the Menzies Corporate Finance team and is the Office Managing Partner for the Heathrow office. He has substantial experience in a wide range of corporate transactions including business acquisitions, management buy-outs/buy-ins and company disposals. Mike also has extensive knowledge of due diligence investigations, carried out in connection with venture capital investments, take-overs, management buy-outs and management buy-ins.

Having qualified in 1987, Mike became a partner of Menzies in 1993.

Jeremy heads up fund raising in the Menzies corporate finance team and has practised in corporate finance since the early 1990's. He has substantial experience assisting privately owned businesses on management buy outs/buy ins and acquisitions, and has extensive market knowledge of the private equity and banking communities.

Jeremy has had first hand experience of client side life as Finance Director of a private-equity backed MBO team that successfully sold to a NYSE global group, where he became the group's UK Finance Director.

Jeremy qualified with a top 10 firm in 1989 and joined Menzies in 2006 from a West End corporate finance boutique.

John specialises in corporate finance and has substantial experience in helping client to raise funds for buying and selling businesses. He has excellent relationships with a range of venture capital funds and has particular expertise in raising funds between £250,000 and £2 million.

John chairs the Credit Committee for the Accelerator Fund for Finance South East and was instrumental in bringing the £10 million fund together for the benefit of the region's SMEs.

A corporate banker for 16 years, John has a reputation for completing deals. He established and ran his own corporate finance business for nine years, joined Morley and Scott in 2006 and joined Menzies in 2009 following a merger of the two firms.

Simon is one of the firm's specialist tax advisers to SMEs and mid-corporate companies. He is the lead tax adviser on many corporate finance transactions and property matters. His experience includes advising clients on all tax planning strategies such as choice of entity, deal structures, group reconstructions, demergers and the most tax-efficient exit strategy.

Simon joined Menzies as a Tax Partner in 2003, having been with a major national firm for a number of years. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1989 and as a Tax Practitioner in 1991.
