UK Innovation UK 2016 - Research and Development (R&D)

Innovate 2016 is a global event that aims to showcase technology and innovation here in the UK. Taking place in Manchester from 2nd-3rd November, the event will bring together businesses, investors, collaborators and research institutes to promote UK innovation and its growth potential.

Sam Swansborough from Menzies Innovation and R&D Tax Team will be in attendance to track the latest insights and future technological developments expected over the next few years.

For day two our attention shifts to Technologies of the Future, bringing together some new and emerging technologies which have the very real potential to create new industries.

From graphene to quantum technology, this should be an exciting chance to share and gain knowledge.

In addition to the lectures, seminars and showcases there will be a number of dedicated periods to allow visitors to network with potential investors, suppliers, customers and partners. The organisers are expecting more than 2,500 people to attend across a number of industry sectors so there is huge potential to find new business connections.

Innovate 2016 is being jointly hosted by the Department for International Trade and Innovate UK and shall be held at the Manchester Central Convention Complex.
