I am a Partner within the Menzies Audit & Assurance team and also support smaller clients within the accounts team. My client base spans SMEs and not‑for‑profit organisations; I always aim for high client service. A mentor once told me “each of our clients is our boss” – that idea continues to guide how I work.
I trained with a large audit firm, moved to a smaller firm in Blackburn, and became partner after a merger with Beever and Struthers in 2009. In 2025 we merged with Menzies LLP. Many of my clients are in manufacturing and engineering, which I really enjoy.
I watch football (following the Rovers), spend weekends in Cumbria walking, go to concerts and festivals whenever I can – recent favourites include Ed Sheeran, Billy Joel, Simply Red and more.
