I am a Chartered Accountant, who has spent over 30 years’ dedicated to forensic accounting work. I successfully developed my own practice, before leading the London forensic services department of a major accounting firm.
I have dealt with over 400 assignments, usually acting as an expert witness and have appeared at court, well over 100 times. I have achieved many notable successes, and am keenly sought after for my ability to explain complicated financial evidence, to judge and jury alike.
I have successfully acted in:
- Prosecution of an ex-head of State for corruption.
- Defence of a sovereign government against a breach of contract claim.
- Amending the financial and good governance arrangements of a major national sport.
My work has ranged from criminal cases covering all types of fraud and confiscation, and also civil litigation. I also successfully chaired a regional initiative of the ICAEW, to assist several police forces in the investigation and prosecution of financial crime.
