I am a general tax practitioner, with my focus primarily on personal tax and capital gains tax. My client base comprises of Barristers, high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, OMBs, rental portfolios and the retired.
In addition to the compliance side of my role, I also advise on capital gains tax planning, and looking at the interaction of personal tax with business tax for my Privately Owned Business clients, whilst keeping a watchful eye on the ever-changing rules for rental properties.
I became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1995 and the Chartered Institute of Taxation in 1999.
I joined Menzies following the merger between Morley & Scott in 2009.

My favourite hobbies
I have a passion for the arts, literature, guinea pigs and swans. I enjoy attending all types of events, with a particular love of Shakespeare and folk music and enjoy the benefit from living so close to the sea.
