As a Partner at Menzies, I bring more than two decades’ experience advising businesses across a broad array of industries and ownership environments — from owner-managed firms and corporately owned enterprises to private-equity backed portfolio companies. In addition to this, I’ve worked across real estate investment and fund vehicles, technology and start-ups, and established trading and service-based businesses. That blend of industry diversity and ownership-model familiarity brings a broad perspective to how businesses operate, grow and manage risk.
I take a commercially minded, partner-led approach—ensuring clear, timely communications and a deep understanding of your business goals. I work closely with business owners, CFOs and finance teams to deliver audits that are efficient, insightful and aligned with commercial objectives, whilst helping clients strengthen financial controls, improve governance, and manage risk with confidence. Whether supporting a business through a change in ownership, preparing for investment, or providing a fresh perspective, my clients value my ability to anticipate challenges, communicate with precision, and support long-term resilience.
Throughout my career, supporting clients through challenging periods where clear, actionable advice is business critical, has been deeply rewarding. Being able to help businesses identify and manage risks effectively brings me great fulfilment. I am equally proud of mentoring team members who have grown into strong leaders in their own right—witnessing their development has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my role.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, good food and wine, and time with friends. I enjoy long walks in the country and still manage the occasional cycle, run or swim—though I now watch more sport than I play!
