I am a Senior Manager in our London office.
My primary focus in my day-to-day role is leading our IFRS Advisory services. I work closely with clients across various sectors to navigate complex accounting challenges. This involves providing strategic guidance and implementing solutions that ensure compliance with international financial reporting standards. Additionally, I spearhead initiatives to enhance our digital presence and elevate client engagement in the realm of financial reporting.
I work closely with my clients to provide comprehensive support in accounting and financial reporting. This includes strategic guidance on accounting implications for various decisions, such as mergers and acquisitions, refinancing, and company reorganizations. I also assist in aligning accounting policies and transitioning to UK GAAP, ensuring smooth implementation.
One of my proudest moments in my career was being named a finalist in SAICA’s Top 35-Under-35 competition. This recognition highlights the impact young CAs(SA) can make in their professions and society. It reflects my commitment to excellence and my desire to contribute meaningfully to the financial sector as well as the community.
Outside of work, I find joy in contributing to my community through initiatives that promote wellness and professional development. Engaging with a diverse audience through media platforms and public speaking engagements brings me fulfilment, as it allows me to share knowledge and inspire others. I also enjoy connecting with fellow leaders and change-makers, collaborating to drive impactful change and foster growth in our respective fields.
