Having graduated from the University of Brighton in 1995, with a BA (hons) in International Accountancy and Finance, I began a career within the Financial Services Sector, where I spent nearly 20 years’ working for American Express and advising various start-up businesses within the sector. My roles evolved from providing day-to-day financial support to strategic FD advice and support up to and including board level.
During this time, I qualified as an ACCA Accountant within American Express in 2001 and later gained my Fellow membership (FCCA).
On joining Menzies in 2017, I had a number of project roles to rationalise and drive process improvements in their Wealth Management and internal Practise Finance activities, before joining the rapidly expanding Outsourcing Services team.
As head of the Outsourcing Services team, being fully appreciative of the varying commercial challenges facing business leaders at both operational and strategic level, me and my team are focused on supporting our existing and new clients for the long term. Investing time gaining a deep understanding of our clients’ needs, as well as building close working relationships with the clients will ensure our service offering is focused on delivering those requirements in an efficient and cost effective manner.
