Since 2009, I have been a Partner at Menzies, specialising in strategic planning. I am also involved in a lot of work in the franchising and technology sectors and advising owner-managed businesses on growth, succession and wealth-building ideas.
I am now providing business development consultancy to professional practices and businesses.
I have been advising franchisors and franchisees for over 25 years and have strong links with key advisors within the franchising world, including BFA.
I started my career with Rothman Pantall in Winchester, moved to Edward Leask Chartered Accountants in 1984. They merged into Morley and Scott in 2001, and in turn, merged with Menzies in 2009.
My first job
Clay pigeon trapper. Every weekend I would sit in a cold wet field, behind a trap and have people shout “Pull” at me.
Alternative career choice
Antiques. The thought of finding and trading in items, which could be valuable, sounds really exciting.
