Can I claim for outstanding interest:
Creditors may claim for outstanding interest up until the date of liquidation, in line with legislation. Any claim for interest post-liquidation will be rejected by the Joint Liquidators.
Can I be a creditor of more than one company within the Intercare Group:
If you are owed money from another company within the Intercare group, you can submit a Proof of Debt Form for that company to intercaregroup@menzies.co.uk.
You will not be able to claim the same debt across various companies within the Intercare portfolio.
Who are the liquidators:
Louise Donna Baxter of Begbies Traynor (Central) LLP and John Dean Cullen of Menzies LLP have been appointed Joint Liquidators of the Company.
What is a joint appointment?
The Joint Liquidators work collaboratively on the liquidation, sharing information and responsibilities to ensure the efficient administration of the liquidation and the discharge of their statutory duties. Whilst decisions may be made jointly, there is no duplication of work as a result of the joint appointment.

What evidence should I attach to my Proof of Debt:
Please attach evidence which substantiates the whole debt owed to you by the Company. This may include, but is not limited to:
- Statement of account
- Purchase agreements
- Lease agreements
- Share certificates
What happens next:
On 20 February 2026 the Joint Liquidators issued a final date of proving, which is 19 March 2026.
The final date of proving is a deadline by which creditors must submit their proof of debt form and evidence to be eligible for a dividend.
Once the final date of proving has passed, the Joint Liquidators must within 14 days of the final date of proving set out whether the claim has been admitted or rejected or whether any other provision has been made in respect of the claim.
Should you submit your claim after the final date of proving the joint Liquidators are not obliged to deal with the proof of debt.
A first interim dividend will be paid within 2 months of the final date of proving.
