Julie is responsible for advising corporate businesses, primarily in the SME market, with a particular focus for inward investment business. She also acts for a number of professional partnerships and has advised on conversion to Limited Liability Partnership. Julie is also the Managing Partner of the Heathrow office and a member of the Menzies management committee. She qualified in 1984 and was appointed partner in 1988.

Salvador is head of the Menzies property team and has over 20 years’ experience advising property developers and construction clients. His focus is on ensuring that property companies have access to the specialist advice they need, and that they are kept up to date with industry developments. He has an extensive knowledge of tax law as it applies to the property and construction industry, which he uses to help clients develop tax planning strategies.

Salvador writes articles for various property publications and has lectured at the ICAEW annual property conference.

Ian acts for privately owned businesses and specialises in helping them with business growth, accounting, compliance and taxation matters. He has particular expertise in audit work and acts for companies and charities requiring this service.

In recent years, he has run his own consultancy practice, advising clients in a variety of business matters and has also acted for several charities, including the Licensed Trade Charity.

Ian is Chairman of the Salt Hill Society and a trustee of the Licensed Trade Charities Trust. He qualified in 1979, joined Morley and Scott in 2007 and moved to Menzies following a merger in 2009.

John has over 25 years’ experience in advising privately owned businesses. Based at the Blackwater Valley office, he specialises in audit work for larger corporate businesses and is one of the firm’s pension audit experts, dealing with both money purchase and final salary schemes ranging from 1 to over 4000 members.

John joined Menzies in 1979 and became a partner in 1990.

Caroline has significant experience of advising medium-sized and privately-owned businesses. She specialises in complex and larger audit assignments, including IFRS-compliant and AIM-listed companies.

Caroline also provides business advisory services to fast-growing businesses. She qualified as a chartered accountant in 2001, having trained with Menzies for both her AAT and ACA qualifications. Caroline became an Associate Director in 2008 and is currently responsible for the audit department at the firm's Heathrow office.

Chris is the Managing Partner of the Woking office and deals with a varied client portfolio. He specialises in advising privately owned businesses on accountancy and associated tax matters, including succession planning and structure of business. Chris also deals with a number of FSA-regulated businesses.

He joined Menzies in 1971, qualified in 1976 and became a partner in 1984.

Peter acts for a wide range of SMEs and specialises in charity accounting and trustee governance. He has extensive knowledge of the charity sector and can advise on the management of risk as well as the detailed requirements of SORP.

Peter enjoys close involvement with his clients and, having previously worked in a couple of Finance Director roles, has first-hand experience of the pressures that business owners face.

He qualified in 1974 and became a partner in 1985. He joined Morley and Scott in 2008 and subsequently joined Menzies in 2009 following a practice merger.

Andrew is also the firm’s technical partner, a role that includes advising clients and supporting fellow partners and staff on assurance and accounting matters.

He qualified in 1989, becoming a partner in 2000.

Mike has extensive experience in corporate finance and has advised on a wide range of business purchases, sales and re-organisations. He was one of the first people to be awarded the ICAEW's new Corporate Finance qualification.

Mike's other great interest is the property sector, where he works with many clients, and is a member of the firms property team.

Prior to becoming a partner in 1986, Mike spent nine years with a Big 4 firm.

Andrew qualified in 1983 and became a partner in 1987.

Andy specialises in advising privately owned businesses on tax mitigation. He has extensive experience in a number of areas including disposals of privately owned businesses to both listed and unlisted entities, business acquisitions, business restructurings and management buy outs, property acquisitions, employee incentivisation and corporation tax planning.

Andy joined Menzies in 1997, qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2000 and as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2002.

Nick specialises in providing tax advice to companies and their shareholders. He has extensive experience in both UK and international tax issues, and was a prize winner in the Chartered Institute of Taxation's 2007 International Tax exams.

Nick qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse in 1996 and joined Menzies in 2000 after qualifying as a Chartered Tax Adviser. He became a Partner in 2002.
