Local businesses help raise £2,500 for Headley Court
20 February 2012

Local businesses attending the Menzies annual charity quiz have helped raise £2,500 for the Headley Court Rehabilitation Centre in Leatherhead. The quiz, now in its 20th year, was held at Imber Court Sports Club and attracted 32 teams from local businesses. The winners on the night were a team from Mundays solicitors.

Paul Hickson, Partner at Menzies' East Surrey office in Leatherhead, said: "We were delighted with both the turnout on the night and the level of support from local businesses that donated excellent raffle prizes. Many people are aware of the good work done at Headley Court, and the evening was an opportunity for us all to give something back whilst enjoying an evening of fun."

Menzies has, for many years, provided funding to local worthwhile causes and has a policy of supporting local initiatives and that result in tangible outcomes and real benefits to people. This year, which is the firm's centenary year, Menzies pledged its support for the rehabilitation centre at Headley Court.
