The payroll bureau team at accountancy firm Menzies LLP has been awarded the highest accreditation by the payroll profession's leading body, the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals. 

The team, which provides a payroll bureau service to over 1,200 businesses in Surrey and Hampshire, has been accredited as a Payroll Quality Partnership. The award is recognition that an organisation has achieved best practice in the professional development of its payroll staff.

Denise Love, Senior Manager of Menzies payroll bureau, said: "Employees expect to be paid the right amount, and to be paid on time. PAYE is a headache for most employers, but it's an area that they simply cannot afford to get wrong. We worked hard to earn this award and are delighted as very few payroll providers have managed to achieve this. It shows our commitment to providing our clients with a quality service."
